
Oven baking is a delicious way to cook pasta as the additional cooking time allows the flavours from the sauce to intensify. Cannelloni:
Originating in Piedmont, cannelloni are hollow pasta tubes perfect for oven baking with rich fillings of meat, chicken, seafood, cheese or vegetables. Best set on a base of tomato sauce, filled and then topped with a classic, rich Béchamel (white cheese sauce) and finished with a sprinkling of Parmesan or Grana Padano cheese. Cannelloni takes time to prepare; serve it for special occasions with the best ingredients you can afford.
